Criticism of iPad 2

The Founder of firm Microsoft (is the direct competitor of firm Apple Inc.) Bill Gates, has named iPad « good reader and no more ».

It considers, that to become mass, tablet Apple does not have not enough physical keyboard and a feather. However this fact has not prevented to let out Microsoft in the union with HP tablet HP Slate 500 on the basis of Windows 7. In the first days after the beginning of sales some users have faced problems of WiFi-communication.

In the complaints left on site Apple, they marked breaks in connection after awakening an arrangement from a condition of a dream, weak reception by a tablet of a signal, or at all impossibility to be connected to a network, whereas other arrangements including iPhone, showed under the same conditions stable connection.

In reply to first of the listed problems the company has placed appropriating recommendations on its elimination. The matter is that the tablet computer iPad supports both the most widespread versions of the standard 802.11b/g, and newer 802.11n.

Under version Apple, problems can arise in case of the identical name of these networks or/and at use for them various systems of a security (WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc.). However, the decision for it has been found by one of users who has detected, that a raising of a level of brightness of the display above minimally possible, allows to avoid breaks of connection.

It is not clear yet, that is the true reason for malfunctions. Besides, two other problems remain not solved. Earlier the similar situation met at users of laptop Apple Macbook Air.

                                                                                                 

 Other problem with which users iPad have collided, has appeared overheating iPad at influence of a direct sunlight as a result of which on the screen the appropriating message with the request was deduced to cool an arrangement before extension of work.

It is necessary to note, that the temperature range of operating conditions iPad reaches from 0 up to 31 degrees of Celsius.

 In the modern version iPad there is no support Adobe Flash (but there is a support of technology HTML5 partially replacing it, thus on some large sites, for example, YouTube and « In Contact » it is possible to look video without Flash).

After application Apple for a cancelling rigid рамок for developers, about this problem it is possible to forget.

 Lack is absence of USB-sockets for connection of external accessories and absence a web-chamber in the first version iPad, that will make impossible use of technology of videochat FaceTime after updating operational system up to version 4.0.

Though in a sheaf of an accessory iPad Camera Connection Kit with programs of type iFile from Cydia to iPad it is possible to connect without problems USB the store or the keyboard.

 Availability iTunes on an arrangement for an exchange of files is mandatory. To duplicate files probably through the external carrier at availability of a special adapter.

Wireless transfer of files is available only after installation of the special-purpose software, both on iPad, and on sending / an accepting arrangement.
